In my last apartment, Comcast was horrible. Switched to FiOS and had no problems. Moved to a new place where only option is Comcast and it works great here. I had a customer owned modem that I had saved. All things being the same, it was definitely something in the last building that was causing issues.

I got through on the phone earlier but the time that service was expected to be restored was literally 1 hour from the time they looked it up.
