dares has 3 loot pool rotations. each loot pool has 1 or 2 sets of armor. so, yeah it definitely drops armor, but i havent noticed any guarantee of high stat armor. off the top of my head i did get an anti-extinction helm with a total roll of 65 from a run at one point, but its definitely not a common or consistent source for high stat armor. and i reset my dares rep multiple times last season ...
