The only way to really do that would be to have all your companions as super simple classes, where the only real character option they have is "hit it with my stick". There is a lot more variety and cool minor effects sprinkled over the game when compared to KM and that is just more fun. WotR has a lot more reactivity to your race, class and choices when compared to Kingmaker and that is pretty fun. The visuals in WotR are definetly a step above KM, i doubt anyone would deny it.
